SHANK

PLOT:

Teenage gang member Cal, hides his sexuality from the his fellow happy slapping gang members despite their often futile and violent dislike of anyone that isn't the same as them be they unsuspecting shoppers, foreign students, gays etc. Hooking up with a random stranger (Scott), Cal is unaware that this chance meeting will eventually provide him with choices and routes of escape from the tedium of his unambitious and depraved life. When his world collides with Olivier, a student he rescues from a pointless beating, he encounters a lifestyle that presents as many new experiences as it does obstacles.

TRAMA:

Cal, diciottenne membro di una gang di Bristol, passa le giornate tra droga, sesso, atti di vandalismo e violenza e un segreto che tiene nascosto. Un incontro di chat per sesso con il trentaseienne Scott temporaneamente lo soddisfa, ma non cancella il desiderio verso il suo miglior amico, Jonno. Nessa, loro amica, di fatto la leader della gang, sospetta che qualcosa stia minando l'equilibrio del gruppo ma non riesce a capire che cosa sia: anche Jonno, infatti, non riesce ad esprimere il suo profondo attaccamento a Cal, ma nemmeno a tenerlo a freno. Nessa manipola la situazione finché i suoi sospetti non vengono confermati e, invece di aiutare i due amici, incoraggia il conflitto. Nel frattempo Cal incontra Olivier...
